This design is commonly used for auxiliary power cables in power grids and various environments. The included armor means that the cable can be buried directly into the ground to prevent accidental shock and damage.

LSZH cables are different from PVC cables and cables made of other compounds.

When a cable catches fire, it can produce large amounts of dense black smoke and toxic gases. However, because LSZH cable is made of a thermoplastic material, it produces only small amounts of smoke and toxic gases, and it contains no acidic gases.

It makes it easier for people to escape from a fire or hazardous area. Therefore, they are often installed indoors, such as in public areas, other hazardous areas, or poorly ventilated environments.

Application of LSZH Sheathed Power Cable

These XLPE-insulated and LSZH-sheathed power cables are generally used for fixed installation.

Suitable for building wiring, especially in areas where smoke and fume emissions may cause a potential threat to life but not for burial in the ground, either directly or in ducts.

The solar cable is specially designed for the mutual cable of photovoltaic power generation. Its design has anti-ultraviolet and weather resistance. 

It is suitable for pipes and fixtures in the system, both internal and external, but not for direct burial.

Cable Construction of LSZH Control Cable

Conductor: Annealed copper conductor, strand according to BS EN 60228 class 2.

Insulation: XLPE type GP8 according to BS 7655-1.3. HEPR type GP6 according to BS 7655-1.2 or crosslinked polyolefin n material type EI 5 according to BS EN 50363-5 can be offered as an option.

Inner Covering Option: The laid-up cores may be covered by an optional extruded inner covering or separating tape. It shall be possible to separate the cores easily.

Cable Outer Sheath: Thermoplastic LSZH type LTS 4 according to BS 7655-6.1.

Outer Sheath options: UV resistance, hydrocarbon resistance, oil resistance, anti-rodent, and anti-termite properties can be offered as options.

Packaging of ZMS

ZMS cable packaging is provided in the form of wooden reels, corrugated boxes, and coils. 

The cable ends are sealed with BOPP self-adhesive tape and a non-hygroscopic sealing cap to protect the cable ends from moisture. We can print the required marks on the outside of the barrel with waterproof material according to customer requirements.
